Remifemin Plus is formulated for women with stronger symptoms of menopause and/or mood related symptoms arising out of menopause fluctuations. Along with an increased amount of Actaea racemosa to target heat and sweating, St. Johns Wort has been added to assist psychovegetative symptoms such as low mood, nervous tension, irritability and agitation. It is recommended for women in the early stages of menopause when symptoms can be more intense or at any stage of menopause when more support is desired.DIRECTIONS: Recommended dosage: One film-coated tablet twice daily, or if necessary two film-coated tablets twice a day – with or without food. WARNING: In very rare cases black cohosh has been associated with liver failure. If you experience yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine, nausea, vomiting, unusual tiredness, weakness, stomach or abdominal pain and/or loss of appetite, stop using this product and see your doctor.WARNING: St John's Wort affects the way many prescription medicines work – including the oral contraceptive pill. Consult your doctor before use.INGREDIENTS: Each film-coated tablet contains: Native dry extract concentrate (DER 6-11:1) from Actaea racemosa rhizome 3.75mg, equivalent Actaea racemosa (Dry) 31.9mg, extraction solvent isopropyl alcohol 40% (V/V), concentration ratio 8.5:1, plus native dry extract concentrate (DER 3.5-6:1) from Hypericum perforatum herb 71.5mg, equivalent Hypericum perforatum (Dry) 343.2 mg, extraction solvent ethanol 60% (V/V), concentration ratio 4.8:1.
