MENEVIT CAPSULES ARE DESIGNED FOR MALE FERTILITYMenevit is a supplement specifically formulated to maintain sperm health for couples planning pregnancy. It contains a combination of antioxidants which help support sperm health. It is best taken once daily with food for three months prior to conception as the sperms production cycle takes around 74-78 days. Menevit capsules are gluten free and free of animal products.INGREDIENTS:Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) – 100mg Zinc (as zinc sulphate monohydrate) – 25mg d-alpha-tocopherol (vitamin E) – 400 IU Folic acid 500mcg Lycopene – 6mg Garlic oil – (equiv. allium sativum bulb fresh 1 g) – 333mcg Selenium (as selenemethionine) – 26mcg Menevit is a fertility-enhancing supplement for men which improves the health, number, shape and vitality of sperm. There are no serious side effects associated with this supplement and it may be taken for as long as desired. Male fertility rates have been gradually declining worldwide for several decades. Menevit provides the nutrition the body needs to produce large numbers of healthy sperm and—perhaps more importantly—protect those sperm from the damaging effects of stress, poor diet, lack of exercise, free radicals, and various toxins which may be encountered in modern life. Ideally Menevit should be taken for at least three months before attempts to conceive begin; it takes around three months for a sperm production cycle to be completed. Getting the Most from Menevit Menevit is very easy to take: one capsule should be taken once per day, ideally with food. Taking with food will reduce any gastrointestinal side effects, such as indigestion or gas. The supplement contains a number of active ingredients, each of which promote the production healthy, vigorous sperm: Folic acid – A vital nutrient that promotes production of normal sperm free of defects that may inhibit motility or fusion with the egg. Vitamin C – Protects sperm from free radicals and oxidative stress, which can damage all parts of the sperm cell—including its DNA, which may prevent conception or interfere with proper fetal development. Vitamin E – Also provides protection from oxidative stress, as well as enhances sperm motility and ability to fuse with an egg. Zinc – Believed to improve sperm count and support proper DNA structure. Flawed DNA can prevent conception or contribute to birth defects. Lycopene – Increases sperm count and needed to produce properly-shaped sperm that are able to swim well. Selenium – Protects from oxidative stress and contributes to overall sperm health and development. Garlic oil – Protects from oxidative stress and promotes proper cell and DNA growth. The ingredients in Menevit have an emphasis on protecting sperm from oxidative stress because it is believed to be one of the most significant sources of damage to otherwise healthy sperm cells. Seminal leukocytes and sperm produce peroxides, oxygen ions and free radicals—termed ROS for reactive oxygen species—naturally in the body; when ROS are produced too rapidly for the body to neutralize them, the condition is referred to as oxidative stress. Under oxidative stress sperm cells may be damaged, reducing sperm motility (ability to swim) as well as the ability to fertilize an egg. Severely damaged sperm cells may die, reducing overall sperm count. DNA in sperm can also be damaged by oxidative stress, leading to failed conception, miscarriage or birth defects. The ingredients in Menevit help the body neutralize the harmful effects of ROS and prevent oxidative stress. Similar to how a woman may take prenatal vitamins prior to trying to conceive, Menevit maximizes the odds of conceiving a healthy baby on the male half of the equation. Precautions & Side Effects As previously mentioned, there are no serious side effects associated with Menevit. Some men do experience mild side effects, including: Garlic aftertaste Indigestion/heartburn Mild stomach upset Garlic burps Gas Taking capsules with food greatly reduces the above side effects for most men. Note that each Menevit capsule contains 26 micrograms of selenium in each capsule. Selenium is often found in other nutritional supplements, and is toxic in high doses. Check ingredients of all supplements carefully and do not exceed 150 micrograms (also written mcg or µg) of selenium per day. The supplement may interact with some blood thinning medications, such as warfarin. Speak with a doctor before using Menevit if taking any blood thinners.
