Description

Clinicians Bladder Support contains D-Mannose which is a natural plant sugar which helps support healthy bladder and urinary tract function. The harmful bacteria preferentially bind to the D-mannose, which aids in their removal from the bladder and urinary tract.DIRECTIONS: Adults: Take 2 level 1.25ml measures (using the spoon provided) in water every 3 to 4 hours during waking hours for 48 hours. Thereafter, take half to one measure once or twice daily for 3 additional days. Children 4 years and over: Take 1 level 1.25ml measure (using the spoon provided) in water every 3 to 4 hours during waking hours for 48 hours. Thereafter, take quarter to half measure once or twice daily for 3 additional days. PRECAUTIONS: Diabetics: For some diabetics, the ingredient in this product (D-Mannose) may cause a small transient increase in blood sugar levels. Blood sugar levels should return to normal when individuals cease taking the product. If symptoms persist after 24 hours, consult your health professional. Keep out of reach of children. INGREDIENTS: Active ingredients in 2 level 1.25ml measures: D-Mannose…..1500mg. No added: gluten, dairy, yeast, sugar, artificial colours or preservatives. Clinicians Bladder Support is a natural, non-antibiotic approach to managing bladder or urinary tract infections. This product comes as a powder which is mixed with water right before use. Administration as a fluid allows it to be rapidly absorbed for fast results. The pleasantly-flavored concoction is also ideal for those unable or unwilling to swallow pills. The supplement is plant-based and non-toxic if used as directed, safe for use in patients as young as 4 years old. It can also be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Hassle-Free Bladder Health Clinicians Bladder Support is an over-the-counter product, which does not require the hassle and expense of doctor and pharmacist visits. It is also free of antibiotics and will not produce the unpleasant side effects associated with use of such medications, or contribute to resistant bacteria. Despite being classified as a supplement, Clinicians Bladder Support does not require regular use. To the contrary, this product should only be used when an infection is present. It works best if treatment starts at the earliest symptoms of an infection—be sure to have it on-hand before you need it. Each bottle of the supplement includes a measuring spoon which holds 1.25 ml (1/4 teaspoon) of the powder. Dosing depends on age. For Adults: Add 2 level spoonfuls (using the provided spoon) to a glass of water and mix until dissolved before consuming. Repeat treatment every 3 to 4 hours while awake for two days (48 hours). After 48 hours, take 1 spoonful (using the provided spoon) twice daily for the next 3 days. For children age 4 and up: Add 1 level spoonful (using the provided spoon) to a glass of water and mix until dissolved before consuming. Repeat treatment every 3 to 4 hours while awake for two days (48 hours). After 48 hours, take 1/4 to 1/2 spoonful (using the provided spoon) twice daily for the next 3 days. Improvements should be noticed quickly, within the first 24 hours. Improvements should be significant within 48 hours. The final three days of lower doses is simply to clear out any lingering remnants of the infection. If there are no significant results within 48 hours a doctor should be seen; the infection may not be caused by standard bacteria or it may be very severe. How it Works Clinicians Bladder Support contains only one active ingredient; D-mannose. D-mannose is a naturally-occurring carbohydrate sugar which is produced in the body and found in certain plants, such as cranberries—which are well-known for promoting bladder health and fighting bladder infections. Bladder infections are typically caused by a build-up of bacteria on bladder walls or in the urinary tract. In normal circumstances the pH of urine and the frequent flushing of the whole system when urine is expelled is enough to keep harmful bacteria in check, but sometimes infections develop regardless. Some factors that may contribute to bladder infections are: Incomplete emptying of the bladder Dehydration Injury or physical abnormalities in the urinary tract Poor nutrition Hormonal changes Immobility Infections elsewhere in the body Weakened immune function While antibiotics kill bacteria, which are then secreted in urine, D-mannose takes a slightly different approach. Many bacteria will bind to the sugar, if present in the bladder, rather than continuing to cling to bladder walls. The D-mannose—complete with attached bacteria—is then excreted in urine. When there is a relatively large volume of D-mannose available—such as supplied by Clinicians Bladder Support—this action is typically sufficient to eliminate the majority of the bacteria. Not all potentially harmful bacteria are attracted to D-mannose, however; about 10 percent of bladder infections do not respond to the supplement, in which case antibiotics are desirable.
