The difference is spelled out in the components that are added to the miconazole nitrate. Daktacort Hydrocortisone, as the name suggests, contains hydrocortisone acetate, a topical steroid that is effective in fighting sweat rash. Daktarin Gold, on the other hand, contains ketoconazole, potent against jock itch and sweat rash that is infected with candida.
